With the lid on, the Aarke Purifier is 27.5 cm high and 17.1 cm wide. With the lid on, the Aarke Purifier Large is 25 cm high and 21 cm wide. Please measure your fridge space to check if it will fit inside.

Please note, that since it has a round base, the Aarke Purifier will not likely fit into the narrow fridge door storage space.

The filter-change indicator is built as a calendar with the numbers representing every start of a month and the dots in between representing two weeks from the start of the last month. Depending on your preference, you can either use the filter-change indicator to show when you last refilled the Purifier with new granules or to show when to change the filter granules next time.

To use the filter-change indicator in the lid of the Purifier, follow these steps:

1. Add fresh filter granules to the Purifier cartridge.

2. You then have two options:

• If you want the indicator to show when you last changed your granules, set the pointer to the closest calendar mark. For example, if you change the filter granules at the start of January, set the pointer to “1”, representing the start of January.
  
  
• If you want the indicator to show when you should change your granules next, set the pointer to 4 weeks from when you refill the Purifier add the new granules. For example, if you change the filter granules in the start of January, set the pointer to “2”, representing the start of February.

The Purifier does not have to be refrigerated, but should be stored in a cool place and be kept out of direct sunlight.

The filtered water is intended for short-term use, no longer than 24 hours inside the Purifier.

No. There are many types of filtration technologies and removing these from drinking water requires a different type of technology than the one that has been developed for the Aarke Purifier and Filter Refills.

Herbicides, pesticides and PFAS may be reduced by the activated carbon in the granules. However, the Purifier and the Filter Granules ability to reduce/remove these substances depends on the condition of the inlet water, which varies a lot in different houses and cities etc, and the substance of herbicides and pesticides.

Therefore we can not generally define how much these substances may be reduced.
